Happy Children’s Book Week and congratulations to the winners. The Children’s Choice Book Awards are the only national children’s book awards that are actually selected by the target audience: children!

The awards are organized by The Children’s Book Council (CBC) in association with Every Child a Reader (ECAR). The awards were conceived to give children a place to voice their opinions about the books that are being written for them.
