ENTER TO WIN by April 15th, and you may be one of our three lucky winners!

The Time-Traveling Fashionista

Get ready for an adventure as time-travel and fashion converge in The Time-Traveling Fashionista.  Louise, a 7th-grader, loves Old Hollywood and fashion, so when she gets an invite to a vintage clothing store in town, she can’t resist.  Her shopping trip takes an unexpected turn, though, when the breathtaking evening dress she tries on transports her back in time, and she finds herself aboard the Titanic in 1912.  Louise must find a way home before the ship goes down.  Take a look at our Sweet Review to find out more about this special book!

Bianca Turetsky

Bianca Turetsky runs the studio of acclaimed artist/filmmaker Julian Schnabel and has a passion for vintage clothing. The Time Traveling Fashionista is her first book.  The next book in the series will be set in the Marie-Antoinette era, and we hear she spent some time in Paris last summer doing extensive research.  To learn more about Bianca, check out our interview with her, or visit her website timetravelingfashionista.com. As Bianca says, it’s a place for “vintage obsessives or just plain dreamers, like me, who sometimes just sort of wish you could slip into someone’s high-heeled Louboutin shoes for a day or two.”  Her goal in creating the site was to establish a fun place for “fashionistas” to connect.

Look inside The Time Traveling Fashionista, and you’ll find 25 full-color fashion illustrations like these.

Fashion illustrator, Sandra Suy, created these designs.

Sandra is busy working on more of her gorgeous designs for the second novel in the series.
